SEGAN is owned by a small group of colored people from a minority community in Vancouver

At SEGAN they use 100% compostable and recycled mailing packages and cards. Their rigid and premium product boxes are 95% recycled and 100% recyclable

At SEGAN they have a fair-trade workspace certification and are working to receive more certifications regarding ethical labor. Each item produced carries a little plate with its maker's signature on it

SEGAN is a slow fashion brand and their chosen hashtag is #MeaningsNotTrends because their focus is on the stories behind each product and collection rather than keeping up with the trends

SEGAN currently works with almost a dozen artisans and has a small team of 7 people

Just purchased one of their bags for Xmas gift and it looks great. Left a 4-star for durability only cuz haven't tested the durability yet (but looks durable). May change it in the future.
