All of Alexandra Baker's packaging is FSC recycled, including the embossed hangtags made locally in a factory that is wind-powered. Their brand cards are printed on 100% FSC recycled pulp and the company offsets the carbon emissions using the World Land Trust’s carbon balance scheme. Their garment bag of choice is made from FSC recycled kraft paper pulp and is screen printed using vegetable ink. The brand cards and kraft bags are also recyclable. They also have a partnership with Repack for the outer shell packaging bags

Alexandra Barker only produces timeless pieces. This ultimately means that they produce one collection per year and some of the styles remain in the collection for the foreseeable future, perhaps coming out in different fabrics over the course of the style's lifetime

Alexandra Barker only works with the made-to-order method: all of their garments are made-to-order and made on-demand

Alexandra Barker is partnered with an Atelier named "Made Here" in Amsterdam to produce the majority of their collection. Atelier Made Here is a tailor's cooperative of skilled craftspersons with a refugee background that guarantees fair working conditions and pensions for those employed by the cooperative

The brand decided to donate all of the proceeds from one of their quilted styles, Red Sky, to a foundation established in partnership with the Atelier Made Here, namely Foundation Atelier MADE HERE, to continue to invest and support tailors coming from refugee backgrounds re-settling into employment
