Armedangels donated 1.025.082,29 € in 2020. For each mask sold, they donated 2 € to Doctors Without Borders, that's almost €750,000. Along with that, 3% of all profits were donated to organisations that champion climate protection and bio diversity. This allowed the brand to send over €200,000 to Client Earth, Pleistocene Park, Carpathia, Extinction Rebellion, Rainforest Concern and German Zero. They also donated to the National Garment Workers Federation, Sea-Watch, and other organizations working to generate change for a brighter future

Armedangels only uses wool from certified organic livestock farming that is mulesing- and chlorine-free. Organic livestock farming places high demands on animal welfare and ensures that animals are treated humanely. Their organic raw wool is additionally RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) certified

To Armedangels, eco is not just a trend, it's their belief and taking responsibility and protecting our environment is not an option but a must. Therefore, they only use sustainable & regenerative materials such as organic cotton, organic linen, organic wool, recycled cotton, LENZING™ ECOVERO™ and TENCEL™ Lyocell. I bought several top pieces, and I am really happy with them. Durable feel and wear. They also provide clear information about their dedication to sustainability in general. I can’t comment on the packaging, I did not order from their own website.

This product contains organic cotton. This is subject to strict conditions with regard to, among other things, chemicals, pesticides and working conditions during cultivation.

Organic cotton is cotton grown in pesticide-free environments, with sustainability in mind. 

Organic cotton farmers can keep soil healthy for longer, as the fertility of the soil is not compromised. This also means they only grow GMO-free seeds. Additionally, organic cotton farmers do not have to expose themselves to harmful chemicals, prioritizing workers' health, the health of the people in their communities, and the natural ecosystems they operate in. 

Organic cotton is a bio-based material, making it biodegradable, fully composting after it has retired from use.

Organic cotton is a sustainable solution as it is grown without the use of pesticides, from seeds which have not been genetically modified, unlike regular cotton. It is also more sustainable for cotton farmers, protects their land and is more respectful for people.

This product contains Tencel. Tencel is made from eucalyptus wood from sustainably managed forests. Few chemicals are needed in production and the wastewater is reused.

TENCEL™ branded lyocell and modal fibers are created from sustainably sourced wood, using pulp as raw material. The fabric is produced using an environmentally responsible closed loop production process, meaning its solvent has a recovery rate of more than 99%, so no chemical or organic waste is produced in the process. 

TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers are naturally soft to the touch and offer long lasting comfort, even for people with sensitive skin. It is described to be twice as soft as cotton. It’s also luxurious in its shine and flow. Because the material is very flexible, the fibers stay in excellent quality, even after repeated washing. The fabric is also known for its exceptional capacity of thermal regulation, keeping you warm in the old and cool in the summer. Along with that, the material is moisture absorbent, perfect for working out and absorbing sweat.

TENCEL™ fibers are certified as compostable and biodegradable, and thus can fully revert back to nature.

TENCEL™ lyocell is a biodegradable fibre created in a closed loop process from wood pulp. Soft to the skin, smooth to the touch, luxurious in shine and flow, TENCEL™ is a great sustainable alternative. The brand is also known for its exceptional capacity of thermal regulation and moisture absorption.
