The shape of this new garment is inspired by the well-known t-shirt that belonged to the Physical Fitness Uniform (P.F.U.) of the U.S. Army.

Upcycling, also known as creative reuse, is the process of transforming by-products, waste materials, useless, or unwanted products into new materials or products of better quality and environmental value. 

Upcycling artists are inspired by the textile waste they see, which is almost an unlimited resource at this point. They create with the intention to use what is already here. This process is important in the circular fashion movement, because it makes use of discarded textiles, giving these materials second lives. 

Because discarded textiles are not typically sheets of fabric, but rather articles of discarded clothing, a lot of creativity is required to transform materials into new fashionable pieces. This challenge is exciting for upcycling artists, as they are driven and inspired to create with what is in front of them and often don’t have much to lose in the process, since discarded materials are readily available and cheap. Because of this, upcycled clothing is often unique as each piece has been thoughtfully crafted into a new garment.

This product is made by creatively upcycling materials that would otherwise go to waste. This makes better use of resources like deadstock fabrics: leftovers from big production that are saved by re-using them.

Lightweight jacket inspired by the inner lining of American jackets: the neckline's cut retains the same irregular shape and the closure's details are similar to those of the outer garment. The hidden part of the garment now becomes the visible part and reveals its peculiarity.
All our deadstock fabrics are ReLiveTex certified.

This garment is inspired by the lining of the M65  field jacket.
On the inside of the jacket, there are buttons for attaching the insulating liner in cold weather. The liner is specified by MIL-L-43536. It has open underarms, buttonholes at the neck and front edges, and buttonhole tabs at the sleeve bottoms for attaching the liner to the jacket. The liner is quilted and made of polyester batting covered with 3 plies of ripstop nylon cloth. It was redesigned (i.e. buttons were added to its front) to make it capable of being worn independently of the eld jacket.

This British trouser has been customized giving a completely different silhouette. We shortened the pants by giving a 7/8 length, we adjust the crotch curve making it more "slim" taking out the extra fabric from its original. We unstitched the velcro on the side pocket giving more softness and less rough surface, we rebalance the internal leg line taking out a few cm of fabric and giving a smooth carrot shape to the overall pant.

This is the well known t-shirt that belonged to the Physical Fitness Uniform (P.F.U.) of the U.S. Army.
The t-shirt, as all other components of the P.F.U. was not part of a 'true' military uniform, that is the reason why a neutral grey mélange was chosen for its color.
Differently from those produced in '80s, which are our MYAR TOP version, the '90s ones were made in 100% polyester, carried a big 'A' logo on the back and are now more more easy to be found.

The inspiration for this vest comes from US airforce official photographer in the 90's when they used to wear civilian style vest. The several pockets of this vest made it functional for carrying photographic accessories such as lenses, filters, spare batteries, which could be kept at hand without having to take off the backpack.

The Barrack trousers were a clear example of the strong Americanizations in British uniforms, in particular those of the Royal Military Police, developed in the 1960’s. A poly-cotton is used giving many advantages to the soldiers, so they could be used in all seasons without any problems. The fabrics resistant nature made them easy to wash and dry while maintaining the pleats. features included regulators on the waistband and extra-long belt loops to facilitate the use of large belts.

RUSSIAN T-SHIRT - 2020'S
Original Russian Navy T-shirt with poplin insert on sleeves and a patch made with self-fabric waste.
The negative silk screen printed MYAR logo can be glimpsed on the chest between the lines.

This traditional long-sleeved t-shirt was known as ‘Telnyashka’ in Russian and was given to the Navy forces, starting from the 20th Century.
After the Second World War, Captain Vasily Mergelov appointed to modernize the uniforms of the Airbourne Units so he decided to introduce the ‘Telnyashka’.
This t-shirt could also be sleeveless.
It was designed in 3 different colors:
- Deep blue and white stripes, for the naval infantry 
- Light blue and white stripes, for the Airborne and the Spetsnatz (elite Units)
- Red and white stripes, for the National Guard

ITALIAN MARINE JACKET - 1990'S
Multistriped light weight jacket with mandarin collar.

The jacket was introduced in the Italian Navy at the end of the 1980s. 
It is used by the canteen workers, in the technical specifications on the use of the various uniforms of the Italian Navy is called "STRIPED JACKET WITH BUTTONS", but is commonly referred to as the "MAESTRINO" jacket. but it is commonly nicknamed "MAESTRINO" jacket in seafaring jargon. This particular garment as mentioned is intended for the mess service of high command, more specifically for: 
AMMIRAGLI COMANDANTI di Cincnav which represents the operational arm of the naval staff and is one of the 3 high commands of the Italian Navy. These units have a separate mess hall from the rest of the troops.
The jacket is worn in combination with black trousers and a white shirt, a black tie is also supplied. 
Another element supplied with the mess uniform is the "cordon", which is an element belonging to the navy of the past, in fact there was fixed a switchblade ready to use for any eventuality. The knife has now disappeared, but the cord remains in use.

MYAR - NAVY WORKING UNIFORM JACKET - 90'S 
Original American army jacket, unstitched in the upper part (shoulder and sleeve) and applied a teddy fleece in tone with the camouflage (certified by Re Live Text). The button closure has been replaced by a zip closure which incorporates the characteristics of the garments designed for the outdoors. Thermo-glued MYAR logo on the pocket on the left side of the chest and obtained from the fabric of the tailoring. Added to the jacket bottom and sleeves bottom a royal blue lycra border.

The uniforms of the United States Navy include dress uniforms, daily service uniforms, working uniforms, and uniforms for special situations, which have varied throughout the history of the navy. The Navy Working Uniform (NWU) is a series of military uniforms that are currently used by the United States Navy (and some elements of the U.S. Coast Guard) for wear by its members. The NWU is a "working" uniform, which means that is made to a more durable and utilitarian standard, thus being worn in lieu of more formal and delicate uniforms that might get unduly damaged or dirtied in the process of normal military duties. The Navy Working Uniform (NWU) is a utility uniform with multiple pockets on the shirt and trousers. Three versions of the uniform exist, each with a multi-color digital camouflage print pattern similar to those introduced by other services. Type I is predominantly blue with some gray for the majority of sailors. The colors of the NWU Type I, according to the U.S. Navy, were intended to reflect the navy's heritage and connection to seaborne operations, while hiding wear and stains, something unavoidable with the utilities and working khakis used previously. The colors were chosen to match the most commonly used paint colors aboard ship, extending the lifetime of the uniform on long deployments where uniforms often come into contact with freshly painted surfaces. The first NWU variant, known as the NWU Type I, was designed in late 2004 and began being used by the U.S. Navy in limited quantities beginning in late 2008. By late 2010, it had completely replaced most other "working" uniforms.

Myar Usj9C Navy Working Uniform Grey Jacket

ENGLISH CAMOU/DPM  JACKET - 1990'S
On this DPM green camo shirt we apply on the half side a deadstock check shirt. We unstitched one of the front pockets apply the check cut with the front left shape and re-apply the pocket in its original position. The sleeve cuff has been reinforced applying internally the check fabric.
PAST
Disruptive Pattern Material (DPM) is the commonly used name of a camouflage pattern used by the British Armed Forces as well as many other armies worldwide, particularly in former British colonies such as Kenya.
The main variants of DPM are a four-colour woodland pattern, and desert patterns in two, three or four colours. The Woodland Pattern DPM was used with the mediumweight No.8 Temperate Combat Dress (c.1966/1968) and lightweight No.9 Tropical Combat Dress (c.1976). The later Desert Pattern DPM (c.late 1980s) was designated the No.5 Desert Combat Dress. 
DPM has also been produced in black/white/grey Urban DPM, in various blue tones and even in purples (this last for the Swazi Royal Guard).
DPM has been phased out in British military service, superseded by Multi-Terrain Pattern.

Original inner lining from the German Flecktan Parka to which we have added a soft blue teddy fleece hood (certified by Re Live Text). Added two side pocket, lengthened the sleeves and adjusted the length of the bottom. MYAR logo thermo-glued on the pocket on the left side of the chest. Added to the jacket bottom and sleeves bottom, a royal blue lycra border.

This is the German Army Flecktarn Parka Liner, designed in order to integrate the parka in colder climates and in windy situations. Flecktarn ("mottled camouflage", also known as Flecktarnmuster or Fleckentarn) is a family of 3-, 4-, 5- or 6-color disruptive camouflage patterns, the most common being the five-color pattern, consisting of dark green, light green, black, red brown and green brown or tan depending on the manufacturer. The original German 5-color pattern was designed for use in European temperate woodland terrain. A 3-color variation called Tropentarn (formerly Wüstentarn) is intended for arid and desert conditions In 1976, the Bundeswehr in Germany developed a number of prototype camouflage patterns, to be trialled as replacements for the solid olive-grey "moleskin" combat uniform. At least four distinct camouflage patterns were tested during Bundeswehr Truppenversuch 76 ("Bundeswehr Troop Trial 76"). These were based on patterns in nature: one was called "Dots" or "Points"; another was called "Ragged Leaf" or "Saw Tooth Edge"; another was based on pine needles in winter.

This jacket is inspired by the historic Flying Jacket B-3 1942. Made through the combination of three shades of warm teddy fleece fabric (Re Live Tex certified) featuring a classic plentiful collar and frog buttons on the shoulders. Added in the bottom of the jacket and sleeves, a border in lycra couleur bleu royal.

A flight jacket is a casual jacket that was originally created for pilots and eventually became part of popular culture and apparel. It has evolved into various styles and silhouettes, including the "letterman" jacket and the fashionable "bomber" jacket that is known today. The B3 flight jacket was designed for aircraft bombers who needed to go up high altitudes. Thus it could be rightly referred to as the ‘bomber jacket’. The material composition are a combination of sheepskin and very thick sheep fur. The jackets were not meant to be just the regular types, as they were intended to keep people warm at an altitude of up to 25,000 feet. Thus earned the jacket its reputation as one that was capable of providing sufficient warmth. Each of the jackets had two leather straps that could be used to close the open collar; but unlike the other jacket type, B3 jackets did not have a knit waist band or a trim fit. The bomber jacket originates from military clothing which trickled down into subcultures such as punk and has recently made its way into high fashion.

This is the GORE-TEX® 100% waterproof membrane of the Dutch army's three-layer Parka, composed by three components which can be worn together, separate or in any combination. This garment kept the soldiers of the Koninklijke Landmacht (Dutch for 'Royal Army', often abbreviated to KL, the current Dutch army and part of the Dutch armed forces), warm and dry during military maneuvers from within the kingdom of the Netherlands out to NATO peacekeeping around the world.
